Sandy has a passion for golf and the expertise to instantly improve his client`s ability to play this great game.
Ensuring the clients needs are met in each session is at the forefront of Sandy's approach. His philosophy is simple, he delivers individual, tailor-made sessions with the long-term in mind; therefore the client aims for a lasting solution instead of a quick fix. All Sandy's coaching is based around the flight of the golf ball and how to improve it, resulting in instant progress. A holistic coaching approach is used to achieve this.
He strongly believes there is no one way to swing a golf club and treats every golfer as an individual, recognising that everyone develops and grow as golfers in different ways.
Sandy is a fully qualified PGA Fellow Professional and has completed the prestigious “PGA Director of Golf” course. He also holds the accolade of being the only tutor in Scotland currently on the P.G.A.National Diploma programme in `golf coaching`.
Sandy Smith is currently the resident Professional at Ladybank Golf Club, and formerly the Head Professional at The Gleneagles Hotel.

Ladies coaching session 30th May - The day was well structured and informative with individual coaching spread among all players and where did the time go in this actioned packed afternoon.
I went there with an open mind and thought well if I come out with one or two tips I would do well, however I came away with three positives in particular my putting, chipping and bunker play which I have seen improvements already. Although there were only four ladies there it was a day that should not have been missed.
